Quote unquote: "Blood and... oranges." Originally published in 1988 with a beautiful fully painted art-style (in the same kind of neighbourhood as Dave Mckean and David Mack) this is a dark and disturbing comic full of oil, insanity, psychosis and death. Suggested for mature readers - not just because of the content - but because anyone with a short attention span will probably get bored. But for those who are strong enough and are willing to let go and allow themselves to sink into it's murky depths there is a rewarding read with sharply drawn characters and lots of nice lines and sardonic humour. Abstract art mixed with a late-night thriller and a very deadly toaster. "How was your day? Mine was murder."
