For anyone looking for some 1950s-style adventure serial action with a modern science-fiction twist (and hey - who isn't?) - you don't need to look any further than this latest offering from the gonzo far-out mind of Warren Ellis. Plunge head-first into the world of New Ataraxia and into the arms of Anna Mercury: a mysterious figure who's a cross between Daredevil, The Shadow and Batman - albeit with some dominatrix undertones and a massive head of curly red hair. Going up against the might of The Cutter - a sinister new weapon that spells doom for innocent lives - and full of glorious technobabble: it's all just an excuse for some London-style swearing (I'll forego the quotes) and crashing super-size explosions but I had such a good time reading it - I don't really care.
